8th Annual Gila Regional Fly-in August 30 - September 1st, 2024

Plan NOW to join us for NMPA's premier backcountry fly-in!

Our annual fly-in to Reserve Airport (T16) in the Gila National Forest is coming up, with fly-outs to Gila area airstrips and an Airport Open House from 9am - 1pm on Saturday. Pilots are expected to read the available safety briefings (links below) for any backcountry airstrips they visit.

Registration is OPEN! with a $60 per person fee, kids 12 and under free. Includes Friday dinner cookout and catered dinner provided Saturday, plus breakfast provided both Saturday and Sunday mornings. A new NMPA "Gila Wilderness 100 Years" t-shirt is included for each registrant. REGISTRATION CLOSES at 12pm on AUGUST 26, 2024 for NMPA planning purposes.

Tent camping is allowed on the field. Water and electric on site, and county provides porta-potties. Ground transportation provided into the town of Reserve and to motels at Hidden Springs or in Reserve. With luck, the county will have their new pilot lounge semi-operational - no promises yet!

A block of refundable rooms is held at the Hidden Springs Inn while they last (until Wednesday, August 12) at:

Ground transportation provided by NMPA and volunteer attendees, as we encourage supporting local businesses.

Cancellation Policy: No registration refunds after 12 Noon August 26, 2024. Exceptions may be considered by NMPA for portion of funds not yet committed by NMPA at time of cancellation.
