Meet NMPA members statewide via this informal monthly online chat session on the 2nd Wednesday of each month.

Our topic for December will be "Abandoned and Little Known Airfields of NM".

This month, we will have a special guest speaker, Paul Freeman, curator of the "Abandoned and Little Known Airfields" webpage. http://airfields-freeman.com. Paul's page is filled with a tremendous amount of history and lore of the early days of New Mexico Flying. Paul will start things with a presentation of some interesting abandoned airfields in New Mexico, and then we will have a Q & A session about airfields you may be aware of. Have your pictures ready to share, or if you don’t want to deal with putting them on Zoom, email them to me at zoomchat@nmpilots.org and I’ll take care of it for you.

Please join us on December 9th at 7 PM for our next NMPA – Fly New Mexico – zoom chat. We will be sending out an email to our members about a week before the chat with instructions and a link to the meeting. Since only our members will have the link, our Zoom meeting will be more secure and shielded from spam. You might find it easier to run Zoom from a laptop, tablet, or phone because the camera and microphone set up and ready to go. -- Jeff Gilkey
