Night Flying Clinic and Discussion
Zoom On-Line Meeting
Thursday, October 8, 2020 – 7 to 8:30PM
Nighttime is often a great time to fly because the air is calm and the traffic light. The views are like nothing we experience during the day. To many, it can cause fear mostly due to the unknown. Come join the discussion with fellow pilots and refresh yourself on night flying techniques. John Lorenz, CFI, will lead the discussion, which should get you ready to go out and practice these techniques with a qualified instructor. There’ll be plenty of time for discussion, questions and answers.
This event is free to all NMPA members, including access to the presentation materials. Not a member? Please join us at NMPilots.org .
Zoom meeting information and a pre-clinic worksheet will be sent to NMPA members ahead of the meeting. WINGS credit will be given to pilots who participate in that FAA program.
This event is hosted by the NMPA Safety and Education Committee. Please contact Bob Waters (safety_education@nmpilots.org) if you have any questions or concerns.
