PIREPS - Airfields

I did a flyover on 3-28-24, and the runway looked pretty good. It may have been a little wet and soft in a few places along the eastern edge.

There is evidence that the county has rolled the runway. It is in the best condition I have ever seen.

The windsock is good. The entrance road from Catwalk Road has been improved. If Glenwood has an Uber driver, it would be a great way to see the Catwalk. Cell coverage with Verizon is good at the airstrip.

Use caution if flying into Glenwood Catron County Airport (E94). Apparently, the county has dragged the runway and there are numerous rocks reported as of 4-17-23. There are plans by the county to improve this airstrip, so maybe this is the start of that.
