COVID-19 RELIEF COURTESY OF NEW MEXICO PILOTS
Author Last Post

To our fellow New Mexican pilots,

Our country is currently living through unprecedented times, with tens of millions of Americans affected by the spread of COVID-19, some of whom we count as our neighbors here in the high desert.

As pilots, we are blessed with the ability to take off, dance with the clouds and see the world from an entirely awe-inspiring perspective. And while we are lucky enough to have the ability to change our worldly vantage point from inside the cockpits of our flying machines, we here at Santa Fe Aero Services and Skyland Aircraft believe we can also utilize this privilege to help those within our communities on the ground.

This is why we have partnered with the The Food Depot to help provide crisis support for families in need. Now through September 30, 2020, Santa Fe Aero Services and Skyland Aircraft are offering annual aircraft inspections in which 25% of the labor charges will be donated, in the name of each customer, to this 501(c)(3) charity. The Food Depot will send you, the customer, a receipt for the donation which can be claimed on your annual tax return to the extent allowed by law.

The 25% labor cost from your approximately 27-34 hour inspection, should donate roughly $680 to The Food Depot, which in turn will contribute over 2,700 meals to those in need. In addition, we will make the same 25% labor charge donation for applicable follow-up work to correct any defects found during the inspection. Santa Fe Aero Services and Skyland Aircraft have also coordinated with Jet Center Santa Fe to offer a discount on up to 50 gallons of fuel for any out-of-towners who fly in to support The Food Depot program.
