About this event
The segmented circle at Me-Own Airstrip needs to have the painting completed. The last work party was great, but we ran out of paint.
Sorry, no NMPA trailer support this time due to road conditions. You need to bring your own food. There is no potable water at Me-Own but there is a vault toilet. Tent camping or small RVs.
Cell service is minimal, depending on your carrier. Do not rely on cell service or radio reception to close a flight plan.
Bring your own tie downs for aircraft and plan to shut down on the runway and push back into parking. Rocks have NOT been cleared from beyond the runway. Capacity is 15 airplanes.
This should be a pretty easy work party, and we can see how the Black Fire recovery is going.

Me-Own Airstrip is situated in close proximity to both Gila Wilderness and Aldo Leopold Wilderness. Avoid excessive circling and please keep aircraft noise to a minimum. Attendees must read and agree to NMPA liability waiver, and must read the Me-Own safety briefing.
