Amigos del Cielo (NM90) Fly-In

February 24 - 26, 2023
A super weekend in the Boot Heel of New Mexico!

ITINERARY

 

 

Friday, February 24

 

  • Arrive at Amigos anytime after 8:00 am

  • Camp in your tent at Amigos or rent a room in the house or theater building. Contact Peter Jarosak, email preferred, milehighpeter@gmail.com or (219) 405-9725

  • There is a grill to cook your own dinner and a fire pit to gather around.

  • Some hangar space may be available, first come basis.

  • Lodging alsos available at Thurmond Airstrip (NM12), 12.5nm East. Call Debbie Reiley for details at (956) 357-2957


Saturday, February 25

  • Morning Coffee Bar in north hangar
  • Optional fly-out to Lordsburg Airport (KLSB) for Lordsburg Fly-in. 
  • Lunch will be served at KLSB.
  • 5:00 PM  Catered dinner at Amigos with sides and beverage, $38 incl. tax and gratuity  
  • After dinner, relax and there may be a flying movie in the theater.


Sunday,February 26

 

  • Morning Coffee Bar in north hangar
  • Optional breakfast (7-10AM) fly-out to Thurmond (NM12). Call Debbie Reiley for coordination and details. (956) 357-2957
