NMPA's Gila Regional FLY IN
   September 13 - 15, 2019


 



JOIN US!  A special weekend is in the works, based from the paved airstrip at Reserve, NM (T16), as for the past 2 years.  Public invited to view aircraft and visit with pilots on Saturday (no admission charge).

REGISTER NOW to take part in this 9th annual Fly-In! Attendees camp at Reserve and some at Negrito as in past years although Negrito services are limited. Registration deadline is September 10.

Registration FEE:  $55.00 per person, children 12 and under FREE.  Fee includes dinner and non-alcoholic drinks for Friday and Saturday night, and breakfasts both Saturday and Sunday at Reserve, NM. Dinner Saturday night is catered. Friday dinner cooked up by NMPA. A burrito breakfast can be provided Saturday morning at the Negrito Airstrip for those camping there. Your total fee is computed automatically based on the number of attendees registered. 

NOTE:  Registration, payment, and acceptance of NMPA's liability waiver are REQUIRED for all participants attending in your registration whether flying or driving to the event.   Space limited to the first 35 aircraft registered.  Subsequent registrations waitlisted.



FOOD, WATER, and PORT-A-POTTI:  We arrive at Reserve Friday morning.  We offer group breakfast Sat/Sun, group dinners Friday and Saturday night (Mediterranean Chicken) - all at Reserve.  Vegetarian option available on request. For any other meals and snacks, you're on your own.  Water available on site at Reserve so you don't have to pack that in. Portable toilets will be set up at Reserve. New this year, the Negrito vault toilet is operational!

LODGING: If camping is not your thing, NMPA is holding a block of rooms at the Hidden Springs Inn near the Reserve Airport with overflow accommodations also available in Reserve. To reserve a room, call the Inn at 575-533-6146 by Wednesday September 4 and tell them you are attending NMPA’s Gila Regional Fly In.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION will be provided daily between the Reserve Airport, town of Reserve, and the Hidden Springs Inn. 

ACTIVITIES:

Fly-outs:  If you choose to fly out to area airstrips, as Pilot in Command, you are fully responsible for the safety of yourself and your passengers. Area airstrips include the USFS Negrito, MeOwn, Beaverhead, Jewett Mesa, and Double Circle plus Catron County airfields.   

 Safety Briefings:   For fly-outs to local airstrips, pilots are expected to download and read the applicable briefings.

Campfire Singing:  Bring your instrument of choice and hangar stories for group meals and Saturday evening around the campfire (as fire restrictions allow). 

FAMILIES WELCOME!  This is a family friendly event so bring the kids! For those without children, please do your part to maintain a family friendly environment.
