PIREPS - Places to Fly

Had my breakfast burrito this morning and talked to the owner. He says any pilots who fly in and park their planes in front of the restaurant get free coffee. They have a full menu and good coffee. Great to have a destination that really welcomes private pilots

Jim Bobs is definitely open, They are closed Sunday and Monday but open early the rest of the week. His green chile Burrito is well worth the trip. I park my plane right in front of the restaurant, they have a good cable tie down system

According to the EAA 555 newsletter, there is once again a restaurant at Las Cruces Airport(KLRU).

Jim Bob's Barbeque has only "soft opened" so far. I guess that means carryout only right now due to the COVID restrictions.

Maybe they have a bit of outdoor seating also. And of course, look forward to 2021 when EAA 555 will be able to provide breakfast again on one Sunday every month.
