High Desert Fly-In of Winslow, AZ
October 13, 2018

Winslow-Lindbergh Regional
KINW
Winslow, Arizona

0800-1200. This is a relatively low-key annual fly-in that treats visiting pilots very well. In addition to a free goody-bag, you are given a ticket for a free breakfast as well. The airport discounts avgas during the hours of the fly-in just to sweeten the pot. They will even provide transportation to and from town.

Grand Canyon, Bar 10 Weekend
October 28 thru  29, 2018

Bar 10 Airport
1Z1
Grand Canyon, AZ

The Bar 10 flyin is the weekend of Oct. 28-29, 2018. This is a Sunday and Monday to avoid conflicts with other groups.

Make your own reservations for accommodations. Go online to Bar10.com. Choose from wagons out back or enclosed rooms. Arrive any time 10-28-2018.
Suggested activities include touring the North rim of the Grand Canyon or fly to Grand Gulch. They can provide sack lunches for those doing flyouts. Last year, folks planned to visit Grand Gulch, Tassi Springs, and do a flyby at TuWeep. It should be a fun fun weekend. This should be a good time of year for this also.

Arrangements may be made ahead if people want to go 4 wheeling or skeet shooting. They must know well in advance if someone is interested.

Perry Null has already made reservations for himself and serves as our contact. Perry highly recommends this event and hopes there is NMPA member interest in this laid back weekend to a paved airstrip.
